Since 2016 I've been obsessed with making music. I actually started before that - in 2014 - but after my family moved from St.Louis to Texas there wasn't much else to do. In a whole new state, with new friends and opportunities, Callmesolstice really came into being. During my senior year I put out my first EP called Must Be Nice, a reaction to the fabled 'cuffing season' that came and went during the year. A sarcastic take on my relationship status at the time, this project and its reception gave me the confidence to start performing at bars and venues around my area. From there I started collaborating with more artists, and really pushing to grow my own brand, but that never comes without challenges. After high school I lost my direction a bit. In between finding shows and recording new tracks, I was struggling with homelessness, depression, and heavy heavy self-doubt. But somehow, regardless of all that I still was able to gather over 200,000 streams on Spotify alone, perform at several shows during 2022 SXSW, secure a management contract, and even open up the last leg of a nationwide tour! Unfortunately, homelessness took its toll me, and I had to take a break from music to recalibrate my head at the end of 2022. During this time, I was re-introduced to the school that I wanted to attend right out of high school - The Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences (AKA CRAS). I decided that if I wanted to really make my living from music, it was time to get serious and learn skills that push me further in that direction. I quickly saved up the money I needed to move from San Antonio to Phoenix and begin my education. As soon as I walked into class the first day, I knew I was in the right place. While attending CRAS I got straight A's, joined their mentor program, and even received a letter of recommendation when I graduated! (I had to flex that real quick my bad) And now, after earning a degree in Audio Engineering, I'm coming out strong. More music, more videos, and just a bunch more content. Welcome to the era of Sol
